Definition
Auto Insurance, commonly called aseguranza de auto in Mexican-DFW Spanish, is the auto insurance policy that protects a Texas driver from financial loss after an accident, theft, or damage to the vehicle. The policy must meet the Texas 30/60/25 minimum liability under Texas Transportation Code §601.072 and may include optional collision, comprehensive, PIP, MedPay, UM/UIM, and SR-22 filings.
